what are the anti virus sites/brands that are really effective?

i suggeat u to go for bitdefender or mcafee... as they are working fine with me..but the only thing u need to do is to keep the things updated.. otherwise no antivirus can protect ur data from being infected.... Keep lotting....keep earning.... byeee...

i tried norton, recently i am using avg, many computer terms are not familiar for me too. i will read some posts here because i wanna know from experts who know which anti-virus are bests.

I am using a anti virus called Solo anti virus. It is light weight and more effective anti virus i have seen so far. It is fast and very compact. Even it detects and destroys the virus which effected to MBR. Other than that i will suggest kasperasky. It is very good anti virus program. The scanning is so powerful. It destroys even worms and spywares. My antivirus is not doing that. This anti virus does that. But i am not using this because it slows down the system.

There are lots of anti-virus softwares out there in the market. But the ones that are most effective in removing and preventing online threats in my opinion are: 1.Quick-heal 2.kaspersky 3.McAfee 4.E-scan 5.panda apart from these there are also others like trend micro, norton, bit defender etc. But I mostly use Quick-heal.

You can go at www.filehippo.com and look at the Anti-Virus List, download Free AVG it's not the best but just for a start then try out the other softwares, I'm using Avast Anti-Virus,
