I completed a task here a couple days ago...it is still in pending, so it hasn't been refused, yet. How long does it normally take before you know they've accepted your task or not? It was my first one, I want to do another one, but not before I know if I'm good enough!!! Thanks!

Well, it really depend on the task creator. I have had some of my tasks approved within a few hours. However, I had also encountered some of the tasks being approved only in a week's time. I will say that you just have to wait patiently. You will know whether if the task is approved soon. However, if it's over 1 week plus (maybe around 10 days), and it's still pending, you can then e-mail the task creator about it. I will say if you will like to try another task, just go ahead and do it first. Just remember to follow the guidelines and instructions given by the task creator...

Yes, do wait a while more. I'm sure you will be able to receive the response from the task creator soon. I also have 3 pending writing tasks which was done around 5 days ago. I hope mine get approved soon too... Hope yours will get approved as well...

I'll just wait a few more days then...some other MyLotters did say it can take a few days. It was just my first task, and I wasn't sure!! Thank you!!!

I just completed my first task last night, and not only was it super easy, it was approved very quickly. I am on my way now to look for more tasks to do! Have a great day. :)

Congrats on completing your first task :) I love the writing tasks and do them often. It's true that it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to have a task reviewed. I'm sure it mainly depends on the work load of the task creator and how many spots were open for that particular task, etc. However, just so you know, myLot does mention in its Tasks as Worker FAQ about how long a task "should" be pending before it's considered as potentially forgotten or overlooked: What should I do if my task is still pending? * That depends on how long it has been pending. We recommend you wait at least a week before contacting a Task Creator about a pending task. I hope this helps :) Best of luck with your tasks!

Thanks! I should have read the Worker FAQ! It's not even a week yet for me. I'll give it this week yet. I'll bet they don't do much of it over the weekend. Thanks, and happy mylotting to you!!

Probably depends on the type of task. For some, I get response within hours, some take days. I am waiting for the response on of the task I have submitted too ! It has been three days now.

The one I did was for $2.00 and you had to type the 4 paragraphs. I guess I've been waiting as long as you!! Hang in there!

marcyyyy, it seems to take a few days for the tasks to be approved or rejected. I am guessing that once they have enough approved tasks they finalize it. I am not really sure on this but so far n the few tasks I have done it does take a few days. I am sure it is an administrative procedure. I say keep on tasking . . you can only get better the more you practice. Good luck to you! and Lotting!
