Freezing Our Rhubarb For Later

We have quite a little patch of Rhubarb that's behind the garage so we tend to forget about it sometimes. We have cut some a few times already this spring and had some really good Rhubarb, but you can only eat so much at one time.
Then our strawberries started to ripen and the combination of strawberries and rhubarb is so good I can hardly wait for more to grow. We kind of ate the first batch of strawberries without thinking about the rhubarb and the birds got the second batch of strawberries.
We went out this weekend and bought a net to put over our strawberries, so we should have more ripe red strawberries in another week.
When they are ripe again I plan to make a strawberry and rhubarb pie. That brings back memories of being on the farm as a kid. Mmmmm Good Memories

I haven't had any rhubarb for years. I use to make a jam with rhubarb and Jello that was very good. My daughter would make the jam every year when she lived in Michigan. she had the plants at her home there. Strawberry and rhubarb pie sounds so good. I'm going to have o find some rhubarb to make some.
