Do you use a spy to see when your friends are online to yahoo or hotmail?

I saw this when i enter to talk with somebody to yahoo, and i was invisible , and few people ask me if i am there or not. So, they can see me even i was invisible.
And after i go to Google and i read there that are few spy programs who can show somebody if others are on line or not. Do you hear about this spy programms?

I have heard about these programs, but would not use them. If someone is invisible that means that they are busy and do not have the tmie to talk to me.
I have accidiently started chats with friends I did not know were online when I simply meant to leave them a message for the next time they were on, but I try to not invade their privacy. If they are busy then I should not bother them, and who cares if they are online doing something else.

Yes, I read and tried some spy programs to know my friends really offline or just invisible. But now I never use it again. I just think when someone invisible it means she/he doesnt want to be disturbed or doesnt want to chat. Usually when they want to talk they will send message to me. So I think I dont need to use this spy program.
