I read that this ten year old girl who was dying with cancer, wanted to see the Disney movie Up, but she was too sick to go to the movie theater so the Movie Studio sent her a Dvd of the movie, and after seeing the movie, the girl died a few hours later. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090619/ap_on_re_us/us_dying_wish That was so nice and it is a wonderful thing that the girl did get her dying wish. So the question is if you or a relative were dying, what would be your final wish? I would like to go to Europe, esp. Wales and also have my novel published and have a solo in a concert where my piece is on a Cd or a DVd before I die. What would your wish be?

Like you I have a few things I would like to see or do, a Super Bowl, a Kentucky Derby, an Indy 500 in person, a Rose Bowl Parade--just for the spectacle. Many of the places I wanted to see, I have been able to see, though there are more I hope to go. But if I could only choose one wish, it would be to throw out a first pitch at a major league baseball game.

At last someone who thinks as I do, wanting to do something that is like a wish. Seeing family and children seems like something you are supposed to say, but something like climbing Mount Everest, going on the first spaceship out of the solar system, winning a game, or for me, singing on a Cd that will be seen by more then my church that is a really good wish. And I hope they have photos when you throw out that first pitch at the major leauge baseball game

What a great thing for the studio to do! It's humbling how little children want, isn't it? They are so easy to please. I think the only thing I would want to do is to spend a day (at least) with my two sons, better yet a week. I would like to be in someplace I could cook for them, and I'd like to go to a movie with them or something else they would like to do. I'd like to do all this in a place by the ocean because we've never spent any real time at the beach. That would be my last wish, time with my sons.

I used to live in Vancouver, British Columbia and I do miss the ocean. So I hope you get your wish and see how beautiful it looks. Everytime I see a movie or a tv show that was obviously filmed on the West Coast, I get homesick.

What a wonderful wonderful thing to do.....if I was dying my wish would be to have all my kids and grandkids home for christmas...it's been years since we have all been together...my daughters married military men so they live all over and it's hard for them to get home!

I'd probably ask for a private concert and meet and greet with the band McFly if I could get that, as I know they've done several before and I've never met them yet always hear how lovely they are. They've been a big part of my life for over 5 years now so it would be incredibly special. But hopefully it wont have to be a 'dying wish'. On one occasion, I remember hearing about a young girl (about 10 years old if I remember correctly) who had cancer and one of the band members phoned her. After the conversation, the girl checked the number he phoned her from and text him (it was his mobile number). He kindly continued to reply to her for a long while which made her feel very special and happy. Later, soon after listening to her favourite McFly songs on her ipod, she sadly passed away.

They must be wonderful people. I have not heard about McFly, but then I am more into classical and opera and sacred music, and I am sort of behind the times in most things =think Elvis, anything from the 50s to the 80s==so I am not up to the modern music. It was so wonderful for that girl to hear her favorite band and to talk to one of the band members. It must have made her last moments happy. As I said, they must be wonderful people.

I don't know.I can't imagine that I'm dying and I still have things to do.But if I am dying in the last time of my life, the thing I want to most will be staying with the people I love.

I want to do something that I have not had the courage to do, like maybe singing a solo, not that I have not done that, but I have only done it in church in front of my friends, but strangers, that is a different story. I mean we see our family all the time and the people we love. Now if I had gone out to a far country and there was no one around that I knew, then I would want to be with my family.

It would be nice to have a wonderful day spending my last days with my family. The memories of that event is the only thing that would matter. My legacy and the time I've spent with them is the only thing they'll remember with me too.

I have no such wish. If I am to die sudden, the wish will be that my parents are well off with the money and all. I also want to give the gifts to my niece and nephew.

My wish would be that I had made a impact on people that they would want to be in heaven with me. To make an impact like this would be so awesome. This was a very good story, thank you for sharing. Have a good day.

I have never really thought about it, I guess I would like to play guitar on stage with Steve Vai, that would be a lasting moment for me even if it was for one second.

Know what.. Well in my opinion, normally for most people dying, they don't ask much of wishes, especially the big ones.. Rather they wanted little and simple ones.. Well, I don't want to think of dying right now or anytime soon, I'm not ready for it.. And I still wouldn't know what it will be.. For now, if I were asked, I would definitely say I would like to travel the world, do the fancy stuff.. Etc. Etc. But that's just overrated which I know for sure that's not something I would ask if I only have few days left.. So I think I wouldn't know until the day comes (which hopefully that'll be 60 yrs from now).

Oh yeah I read this article. Actually, they intially ask Disney first for private viewing, they rejected it and make some frantic calls to Pixar and Pixar agreed to private viewing at the family's home. It is a really sad story because the girl die 7 hours later. When I am dying my bucket list is: 1. Go travel around the world. I think it is a common wish for anybody in the world to see the beauty of the world they've never seen before. 2. Spend my time with my family because they are the closest people in my heart. I think that's all my request. Hope I can make it all

I would like a cup of good coffee. The most simplistic pleasures are the best for occasion like that - she didn't want to fly to mars on bicycle, but watch the movie.
