I have no problem with sleeping in other people's bed. As long as it is comfort and nothing else disturbs me I sleep well in other's house.

I don't think he meant this one Marianna, cause what if he is sleeping in a haystack, which is not comfortable at all, so meaning he cannot sleep in there? Anyways, I can sleep anywhere. In a chair, in a carpet, in a terminal while sitting down.... I can do that... :-D

hi marianna45 :) well no not really , I can't sleep deeply with comfort once I get in other's houses like my uncle's house and even hotels ,I always take time to feel good and sleep like I'm in my own bed !! I don't know why we feel in this way perhaps its psychological thing !! and its happen by nature your body feel insecure or the place is not familiar to you .

I guess this is true. Most of us can't really sleep in an unfamiliar place cause we are anxious of whatever happens to us while we are sleeping specially if it is not a secure place. But then again, it would be better if we sleep together with our friends or people close to us even if it is not our home cause at least we'll feel secure.

Yup, it's the same here. I find it difficult to sleep in at other people's houses, or in strange beds (hotels). Unless I'm totally exhausted, then I will just fall asleep immediately. I suppose I miss the smell and feel of my bed, pillows and stuff!

My only problem when I am sleeping in other people's place is that I can't control anything. If I'll go to the bathroom, I should be so quiet so as not to wake the rest of the crew. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, when I feel hungry, I can't go out to eat because they might not let me get inside again. But aside from that, it's fun to stay in my friends place on weekends.

Usually, I cannot sleep in other people's house or anywhere that's not "my home." However, over the last couple of years I have learned to sleep no matter where I am! I have slept in several people's homes, familiar and unfamiliar, in hospitals, and nursing homes! I'm learning to sleep whereever I am!

I guess you just have to learn to sleep in other people's place. And I think the best thing to start would be in your mom's house. Just try it there, and then after that, you can sleep anywhere you want.

I prefer to sleep in my own bed. I can sleep in another bed but only if I'm tired and in the sleep. I don't know why that is but that's the way I am.

Also, I can't sleep if there isn't something rough rubbing at my feet like a mosquito net. That is why, I usually can't sleep without a mosquito net in my feet. Do you think this is weird or what? But then again, most of my brothers and my cousins has the same sleeping habit that I have. We need a mosquito net in your feet.

it depends which is the house you will sleep may be is not bad person eheheh... So i think is normal you like more sleeping in your house...may be because you have some other habits and so you like to be comfortable in your home..i found sleeping in hotels comfrotable too..so it happen to me sometimes to sleep out of home!!I have not many problems about this issue..

I think you can only sleep in a comfortable place. But then what if it will not be a comfortable place like in a street alley? Can you sleep in there? Anyways, I'm just saying here that it doesn't really matter where we are, as long as we feel tired and sleepy, then we will almost always sleep in the first place we find soothing.

For me I can sleep in other houses as long as they provide me with a nice, comfy bed. I can't sleep without bed, not even the nice, relaxing couch would put me to sleep. I can't sleep in a tent, on the floor/carpet or the portable air bed.

Nice picture. Anyway, I generally have no problem sleeping, provided it's in a real bed. I have a much more difficult time if it's in a car, or in a sleeping bag. But if I have a bed, and door that's shut, I'm normally pretty good. At one point I was in a location where they gave me a sofa and a chair to sleep on. It was very difficult.

its very hard me to sleep at other peoples houses it takes me a while to fall asleep, and than when i finally do its a short time after that i wake up because i dont feel comfortable. for me to sleep at someone elses house i have to go over there ALOT before i feel completely comfortable to sleep there with out waking up. i prefer my own bed other than someone elses

I think that happens to many too. I do have that experience every now and then especially if you have just arrived from that place. But for me it usually last for a day or a coupe of days after that I usually go back to my usual sleeping patterns and can adjust with the new setup.

I have a hard time sleeping away from home. Usually I will bring my pillow. Sometimes that helps a little bit.

Well it really depends if the place is safe, secure and comfortable. There would be times when I find it hard to sleep in some places since the place is not good enough. In places such as friend's houses I could sleep more easily than in a hotel far from home.

Oh I can't sleep in other people's homes regardless of whether they are my relatives or anybody. I can sleep in hotel rooms as long as its just me on the bed! I am so used to sleeping alone that I cant sleep if someone else is around. I can sleep in a car train and plane so long as there nobody sitting next to me otherwise I won't sleep. So its only me and my lovely king size bed!

I have the same experience like you that I can`t sleep in others bed. I don`t know why but it confuse me for a long time. Sometimes I have to go out for some reasons and the sleep is the first and important think. If I can`t sleep well, I will be feel depressed next morning and cannot do any things. Maybe I have a connection to the bed belonging to me.
