Are you still purchasing new clothes? Do you still have a job or did you lose your job? I had to buy clothes because I didn't have anything to wear to my parents. I was in the mall and it seemed empty to me. If you are familiar with Beall's, I went to Bealls' outlet. I bought two shirts for $8. My daughter actually picked them out for me because she liked them. She has great fashion sense.

I just recently went to Mississippi to shop at Hudson's and Dirt Cheap where I got two pairs of paints that were each $2.00! I have been gradually building my teacher wardrobe whenever I have a few dollars; usually by looking at the online clearance stuff at Walmart.

I don't think you have a Beall's Outlet but I just bought two shirts for $8 there. The shirts are gorgeous. You could wear them to the office or to school. If there is an outlet there you might want to try that. That is the least expensive store we have here with name brand clothing. I find Tommy Hifiger in there. It's incredible.

I don't shop that much because I have most of what I need and I dye sarongs and shirts so I usually just need something to supplement my wardrobe but for teaching I have bought a lot of pairs of pants.

Luckily, I am still in the position that I was in for the last few years and that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon. About buying clothes, all I can say is I am just doing what I have been doing. I buy clothes only when they are on sale and that they are out of seasons. That is I usually buy clothes for the summer in winter and vice versa. I have plenty of wardrobes places to store clothes for wearing in the coming seasons.

That's great. Wish the rest of us were so fortunate. I have always been a thrifty shopper so I just keep on doing what I have been doing. I haven't bought clothes for a very long time. Being practical, I didn't need them. LOL

NEW CLOTHES? What is that? I honestly can not remember the last time I bought new cloths except for underwear. Hand-me-downs from Mom and sisters and Goodwill (I love shopping there). I have a job but every penny goes for rent, car, and food big splurge was internet but not sure if I'm going to be able to keep it long.

Believe me, I know what you mean. I personally love the thrift store. As for new clothes, the last time I bought any was 7 years ago when I had an office job. lol
