I use bittorrent a lot. I'm thinking of upgrading, what kind of memory should I get for downloading and watching movies. I eventually want to build up a movie library on my computer.

RAM has nothing to do in boosting your downlod speed using torrent client like 'utorrent'...& so is watching movies on your PC. It's the encoder of the movies from whom you download who needs higher RAM, b'cos encoding takes time to finish... A core 2 Duo w/ 1 to 2 gig RAM is enough... you don't even need a separate GPU...cos you're on-board video memery is enough to stream your movies well on your PC.
