How to change CPU

Recently i bought a Aspire 5930 laptop, and its processor speed is 2.0ghz. i want to upgrade it into higher speed but i do not know how to change the processor. What should i first must knew before changing the processor? one is the socket type right. and the other one its compatibility. But when i already completed that issue, should i reformat my laptop or it will automatically configured by my OS? or should i update my BIOS? And bro, can you help me how to buy a good quality processor for gaming?

Just remove the fan over the mother board by removing 4 screws over it. And gently pluck the processor and install new processor in the same place

Like desktop computers i don't think you need to reformat your laptop after the processor installation. just install it properly then boot normally. Look up System information and it should be changed with your newly installed one. ^^
