My lab has a problem

Ok so i have a 3/4 Chocolate Lab and 1/4 boarder collie, so she is very active and very small, for a lab she is small in size and weight, but that really has nothing to do with my problem, i just wanted to tell y'all that. Anyway she has Saracoptic Mange, and its the worst mange that she could get, we have her on medicene and we are going to get her spayed, because apparently when she goes into heat, it speeds up the mange. Does anyone else know anything else to help her? has you puppy dog ever had it? or wild beast?
