me n my brother are very open with one another..probably this is because of the 2 year age difference between me and him..but many of my friends seems it disgusting to be open and frank with their brothers..is the age difference a crucial criteria....???

my brother and i are very close and the age gap is 2 years only. we share common things together and do certain activities together. i think the closeness of brothers has nothing to do with the age gap or difference.i think it has something to do with the shared relationship you had and the closeness and togetherness you share when growing up. fight is always a part of it, but at the end of the day brothers still look up at each other, that is what Victor (saber tooth) say's to Logan (wolverine). Age is no matter when it comes to family! My brother and I are 5 years apart and we can tell each other anything and everything. He is the closest person in this world to me, over my mother and father and 2 other siblings, and including my girlfriend. He has helped me through times in my life when I didn't think I could make it, and I'm the older brother. I've helped him in times when he had no one else. We tell each other personal secrets we would never tell anyone else, but it has nothing to do with the age, it's the closeness of the person. Some people are like this with friends, others with a mother or father, it's just that person you hold so close to heart.

Hi there Scorpio. My brother is 3 years older than me, so i guess you and me are pretty much alike. We can talk about various topics without being ashamed of this and i don't mind asking for advice at times, just like he doesn't mind asking me for some council. I guess we are more specialized in different categories, so it is only natural to be able to help each other, and we are family... family should come first, right ?

Even I have my brother 3 years younger to me and we are absolutely frank with each other in every aspect. We share our problems, professional and personal, and we seem to enjoy it taking advices from each other. And why should it be disgusting??!! Its very fair, and what's wrong in being open to your "brother"?! Age difference hardly matters in such aspects.
