hi everyone. if i ask u that do u snore? then definitly the answer will be "NO" bcoz a snorer does not know that he snore and he/she is the main responsible for someone's broken sleep. so i want to ask that have u any experience(bitter) of a night where there was a snorer near your bed? can u often sleep with a snorer? i can't endure a snorer although i know that it is not his/her fault. i had left my room several times for a snorer. my grandma was a great snorer. now she is living in heaven but i have some bitter experiences with her. above all i am a rich guy having too much experiences of broken sleep due to a snorer. what about u? i am curious to know. please share. hi shibham, i've learnt several tip for snorer to reduce to sound: 1. Use hard pillows only. 2. Sleep without pillow is the best. 3. If the snorer is over-weight, losing weight will help. 4. Try not to sleep on back. (side or chest is good) 5. Put on a nasal-strip before heading to bed. 6. Take a little bit of honey before sleeping. I found No.2 works the best for my spouse!

Hi, I know that I snore. And therefore if someone near me is snoring like anything I would nudge him and that would stop the sound for quite some time and by that time I would be in the great slumber.

wake him up and let him know he is snoring. often they are simply sleeping in the wrong position.

there is no special way to treat a snorer because snoring looks like a natural thing, the only way to treat him is to tell him that he should take his dinner meals very early in the evening, you do this politely without hurting his feelings, it will also eb ideal to let a snorer know that his sleeping patterns must be changed

hi tudeemma, yes u are right. we should not hurt anyone by throwing some uncomfortable speech for their snorings. a sleeping pattern also can stop snoring. thanks for response.

My boyfriend of 7 years snores especially when he is super tired. Sometimes it doesn't bother me at all. But lately, i haven't been getting any sleep and his snoring is making it worse. So, when he snores, i elbow him and wake him up or cover his face with a pillow!

hi friend, i don't think that your bf snores bcoz he is tired. if it occures to any labourous person then there would be a huge sound all over the world. don't mind there, but u should not cover his face with a pillow. it may be dangerous for him. so just follow the response of candy2306. thanks for your response.

My father sometimes snores when he is tired of working for a day, sometimes not. I do not know why bcos if you are a snorer you may snore every night. But my father does not. I asked many people before how to treat when someone snores, The most interesting answer is 'i can not sleep without the snores when i live with a snorer for a long time'.

Hello shibham. I thought I cannot endure a snorer sleep beside me.But after 4 years of living with my roomate,I can say that I get used to it now. We have to adapt ourselves to the condition we cannot control. Even myself sometimes I also snore especially when exhausted.

I cannot sleep if someone snores.. Its very difficult to tolerate such a person..I prefer not to sleep when such a person is beside me..Previously I had a roommate who snore very loudly..I prefer falling asleep before her always.

you can help a snorer by simply telling him the benefits of taking his supper very early in the evening so that his digestive systems would have digested the food, tell him that he should take care of his sleeping patterns by laying on his chest and not on his back, these are some of the ways of reducsing snoring

well shibham . . you have one of two choices . the first one is go out and get a pair of ear plugs and the second suggestion I have for you is to to the snorring and instead of hearing it as an annoyance let it lull you to sleep! I do hope you find relief in this .. happy lotting to you

My father snores, so does my sister. I think one snores when he or she is so tired. We were once told in our Caregiving training that you have to let the person sleep on his side. When one snores, his tongue recedes and it is likely that he gets chocked in the process. Safe sleeping position is sleep on your side.

My ex husband used to snore really bad. Whenever I told him to lay on his left side, the snoring wasn't quite as bad.

I dont agree with you because a snorer definetely knows that he sonre because other people who sleep with him fear about that and tell him that he is snoring. I do often sleep with a snorer . Because my father is a good snorer. LOL

yes there. some situations push us to endure any morbid suffocation. i don't say that i never respect any snorer. i have mentioned that my grandma snored. but she was the most respectable person for me as i have ever met. thanks for response.

I am positively sure that I'm not snorer. Even though I don't hear myself snore when I sleep - I ask my parents and my siblings if I snore when they watch me sleep and they all say no. So I guess there is a way to be sure that you don't snore :) I don't mind being in the same room as a snorer. Both of my parents snore and I grew up staying in their room (although I had my own mattress) so I'm comfortable with it. I never had trouble sleeping in the first place so I guess that's one reason. I find it more difficult to sleep when someone's watching the television - probably because of the flashing light from the screen. Thanks for the response on my discussion :)
