Hello my Mylot friends this is a critical time in Ohio histrory these days as the Governor of Ohio Ted Strickland what's to cut half of the funding from all Ohio libraries and this could be terrible for all Ohioans. The many services that are provided from the public libraries across Ohio will be closed branches and even whole districts could be closed. we cannot allow such a thing too pass so I'm asking every Ohioan too write their councilmen or any Ohio representative in your district to stop the vote for funds being cut in half by the Governor of Ohio. How could such a matter even be consider by the state legislature, please help our Libraries.

thats horrible! this is one of the only free things that is left to do around the country. here where i live, the libraries are part of the city and thus funded by the city. we visit the library at least once every two weeks just because they have so much to offer.
