lies about transparency, national healthcare and blah blah blah.
I thought the speech today was supposed to be about what's going on in Iran. Could have fooled Obama. He rushed through the Iran paragraph of that speech like a vegan passing a Wisconsin grill.
Hey Obama, can you direct the line about the importance of integrity in voting to your hyenas in ACORN!
With that said, there are decisions presidents make that can be judged based on the US Constitution, their own prior statements and their policies. It is fair to judge those pretty much immediately. The outcome doesn't change whether the acts or statements are Constitutional or honest.
However, there are also decisions that are purely judgement calls. These take a while longer to be able to judge because outcome is often the only measure of the soundness of the decision. The situation in Iran is one of these situations. While I think it's extremely disengenuous of him to call a press conference in the guise of Iran, but spend less than a couple of minutes of it on the subject, I will take a wait and see attitude about how he chooses to handle this test of his foreign policy abilities.

I could go through the rest of my life with out hearing another press conference from the stumbling bumbling fool in chief. Thank God we have some one like Obama to lead the way who cares about his popularity than anything else. I wonder if the poll said that most American support Obama divorcing Michelle if he would have a prime time press conference announcing that he has filled out the divorce papers.

It is sad Iranians struggling for their freedoms are looking to the USA for encouragement and their hopes are falling on deaf ears as far as our leaders
are concerned. I think Ronald Reagan had the right idea of the role of the USA in international affairs in dealing with the enemy of his day, communism. Designated
the "Reagan Doctrine," I think it is the most appropriate and compassionate way for US leaders to react to other nations struggles for liberties we take for granted. Here is Reagan's statement concerning this topic:"We must not break faith with those who are risking their lives--on every continent from Afghanistan to Nicaragua--to defy Soviet aggression and secure rights which have been ours from birth. Support for freedom fighters is self-defense." I think a similar stance of support of those fighting against the tyranny of Islamic government is in order.

Of course they didn't like Reagan. He had a backbone.

Yes, I remember Reagan well, I proudly served when he was the commander in chief. I cut my military teeth on the cold war.
