Rats! I missed it! I have seen a few over the past few weeks: Elf, Christmas iwth the Kranks, Home Alone and Home Alone 2. I personally love Christmas specials and it wouldn't break my heart to see them sprinkled throughout the year so I don't find it too early at all. It is tv so those that don't want to watch it can find another channel...after all, there are SO many tv channels now...it is nice to have so many options. Also, there are SO many Christmas specials that they can't all be shown anymore so the stations choose what they want to show meaning that some of my favorites aren't shown every year or even every other year. If they could sprinkle the throughout the year, they could show all of them and I wouldn't be deprived of some of my favorites. Last year, I made it my goal to buy as many dvds as possible but some just are not available.

Away around that is to tape then (or find them online) and keep them so you can view them all-year round.I started doing that a few years ago. Thank you for your replying.

Holly Hobby has a Christmas show on right now on Nick Jr. Well, Thanks Giving is getting close. You gotta have the build up to Christmas. I guess the longer the build up, the better it is. All the things they sell during this time! Why not start it just after Halloween. Oh wait! That right...they are setting up Christmas at the same time as Halloween. I think next time it will probably be just after Back to School. LOL
