Trekpay asked me to validate my paypal account and address by sending them 1 refundable usd so to be able to ask a payout from them. Has anybody done that and really got the 1 usd back? I have never been asked to something like that and I don't really like that!

I just did validated my account. I will let you know if I get refunded. I wouldn't normally do this, but I know the site has been paying people, and I also want to be able to tell people if you get the refund or not.

They say that we need to have a verified paypal account and a confirmd address before do that refundable payment to them. I have aalready a verified paypal account but what does a confirmed address mean? I have never seen that in my paypal profile!

Some people enter the wrong Paypal address so they just want to do a transaction with you to make sure it works. I'm assuming they're doing it because a lot of people are entering wrong addresses and causing problems for them.

What problem could they get? If they sent the money and the email is not correct so the money is going to come back to them. If it was sent to someone else so that is our mistake from the beginning. They have warnings all over the site to make us check that the account is correct. PayPal is verified or not it's our own problem. All what we have to do is use their searching facility, and all what they have to do is to send the money :S Anyways, I hope they pay you, and refund you the $1 back. Please don't forget to let us know :P

I do not see anything wrong about this. I am taking it possibly. The saite is just checking out if you really have a single account with them.I am assuming everyone has a single paypal account, so most likely if a person has more than one account in trekpay, he /she will most likey will be able to verify just one account. This is good for me. Cheaters will be eliminated. No cheaters means a stronger possibility for a site to grow, stay and prosper.

I got the same message. So weird. It's not their problem to validate "MY" PayPal account. I'm just wondering like you. I know it's only $1, which is nothing. But I just don't like to act that dumb and send it. I hope someone can answer your question.
