Hi friend, what's wrong with your current job? I was happy that you got that job and had helped you to overcome your financial problem. Sad to hear that you had lost your job again. Now, just hope that you will be able to find another job as fast as you can to overcome your financial problem again. Mean while, hope you will get active more with your online job, so at least you can earn quite a good sum of income through it. Good luck to you....

What the heck is this stimulus money doing for the working class?!? I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're unemployed - I hope there's a way for you to obtain some kind of unemployment money from the government. I know the funds itself are running out, but it's worth a try. yes? Also check these sites out: www.wahm.com and www.ratracerebellion.com. They have good information that can help you out. I hope for all the best!

It's ridiculous. Even mcdonalds isn't hiring. boooo i'm still trying to figure out how to make money online that isn't a scam. good luck to you!

Maybe you can find something to do at home. Babysitting? Cleaning houses or offices? Maybe typing for someone? Lawn mowing? Or ???? Not really sure but continue to look online for ideas. Make good use of your talents. If you can write well sign up for some of the websites that will pay you for your writing. If you can take photos sign up to sell stock photography. Maybe try doing some crafts for local fairs or craft shows? Maybe sell Avon, only costs $10 to sign up? I'm running out of ideas but I'm sure you get the picture. Keep your head up. Things will get better as long as you keep a positive attitude.

I am single mother and are really in need for my job. My employer have said they are not going to give notice, but you never know. I hope and pray for you.

The global economic slowdown has hit every country and the citizens very hard as many have lost their jobs. People have got stressed out and frustrated and don`t know how to cope with the situation. In such a scenario the best stressbuster is Yoga since it goes to the very soul. People who have learned this ancient science and are practising it regularly are better able to deal with stress. Yes, a job is neccessary to keep the home fires burning but when none are available I think our very own Mylot comes to the rescue. Only thing is that one has to work hard and try to write as much as one can every day to earn something every month.

I am very sorry to hear this.. I see this was posted a week ago and I havent been home much or online with many of my sites as I have been so busy. I am a full time mom, so I am not in fear of losing that job anytime soon, but since I have decided to make money online for extra income around here I understand you predicament. If I dont get my time on the computer then I dont make any money that day and I have gotten use to it since the beginning of January. I have enjoyed the sites that I have been with and stick with, I havent got rich or made a whole lot but to me I am still a newbie (6 months in) and I am still learning alot. I hope you find something soon, that is sad that you just got back to work only to lose the job so soon. I hope something great works out for you!!!! good luck and happy mylotting!! (at least we are here for you!!)

Hi, I dont know about your situation but I hate it when people lose their jobs I was hoping to offer you some support. I know not working is so hard! I lost my job in January as I fell pregnant again and made the mistake of telling work. I had not long come back off maternity leave (I only spent 4 months I think on maternity leave and I was entitled to 12 months) I went back to do them a favour and I get treated like that tey said they couldnt afford to keep me in babies :(

yes that is really hard when we don't have job because we don't have enough money to do what we want and buy what we want,so when i am jobless i will think how to earn money and also to find work that fit to my skills and my experience too.

The recession has hit the UK hard too and more and more highly qualified people are finding themselves on benefits...yet our government wants single mums to go and get work by the year 2010 depending on what there is around you would be bette off on benefits here the pay is so low when working. But I am glad t]you will be here more often now..though don't mean to be selfish but do like your discussions...LoLo

Im sorry to hear that moneymommy. Maybe your company is doing "cost-cutting " because of our economy. Im lucky i still have work, but yes we also cut expenses too, we dont have office uniforms now, we dont have outing activities but im glad they didnt lay off employees. They just freeze the hiring of new employees because directors dont want to lay off people working in the company. Even though i am working full time, i still join mylot to earn more and also trying to sell stuffs online. happy mylotting and smile always!

Hi moneymommy...I feel terrible for you. I'm hoping that you find something soon. It took me a full year to find this job and that's when things were much better years ago. That's why no matter how awful it gets I know I'm lucky to have one. Good luck in the job search!

I am sorry to hear that you loss your job! I am in the same boat. But the first thing is, to have faith and as hard as it may be to keep your spirits up because when you are down and depressed it brings down your ability to want to go out and look for a job. One thing you can do is sign up to career builder, monster, jobsusa. But be aware of scams don't be so easy to give your info do your company background check homework. Don't ever pay for a job! And the most important thing when you due apply for a job see if there is a contact info and follow up with the employer to make sure that they received your application or resume then follow up with a request for an interview. And don't just rely on the computer for job info, try to network, and go to local business and you can also go to your local county office building they may have job openings too. And see if you can file for unemployment in the mean time I went to my local one stop career center where they help people find jobs and found this program called WIA it stand for workforce investment act - adults and dislocated workers program and it's a government program that will allow people with limited job skills to go back to school to get a better job. here is the link to united states department of labor and it talks about the WIA program www.doleta.gov/programs/general_info.cfm or you can go to the website and type in the search box WIA. Another thing you may due is call a 211 or your local crisis center and they may be able to give you programs that may help you with career services. Hope this helps God Bless
