Buying Baseball Tickets

I just bought some tickets from Ticketmaster on the Yankees website. Has anybody ever purchased tickets from there before? I found they were very helpful. I'm from Canada so having my tickets placed at Will Call is very convenient. I called ticketmaster and they told me there were no tickets left for the game that sat side by side. I went on to the Yankees website and bought two side by side 5 minutes later, and they were from Ticketmaster! I'm confused by this, has it ever happened to anyone else? Why does this happen?

I've never purchased baseball tickets from Ticketmaster before but I have bought concert tickets and they tend to be pretty reliable. I am a huge Cubs fan so when I buy tickets I usually just go through the Cubs website. It is easy to look at the location of the seats. But StubHub is another good site for getting baseball tickets. Go Cubs!
