Alas, Farrah Fawcett has lost her battle with cancer today. It is understood that she has lost her battle to the return of her rectal cancer after successfully diagnosed, operated and treated with chemotherapy in 2006. The 62 year old finally succumbed to the disease but passed away in the presence of family and friends. It is just another sad day for Hollywood to loose another star. Life is fragile indeed, so let us cherish it while our love ones and us still have it. Goodbye Farrah. I really loved Farrah. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, she was a genuinely soft spoken, kind woman. It is much more sad for me then Michael Jackson dying. Not that it isn't sad, I just feel like Farrah had just signed the reality show, she and her long time beau had FINALLY decided to get married and then, this. At least she is at peace though. God bless you and keep you, Farrah Fawcett!

lululastrange, My exact sentiments here and I am sure you are not the only one missing her. She is indeed an illustrious star that has fans spanning round the world. I feel that her fight is so arduous that it is really time for her to rest. It was really one heck of a fight for her and I am confident she is having a well deserved rest. So, it is goodbye to our beloved Farrah. Sincere condolences to her family members and close friends.

Oh, how sad. She was so brave and she had a really tough time. I am glad she will be pain free now and at peace. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family. She was a lovely human being and sadly did not deserve this horrible ending. God be with her and her family at this time. May she rest in peace.

momiecat, This is just another sad chapter. Yet, I believe she is in a better place after such an exhaustive period of fighting and struggling. I am sure she is in peace and better place.

I remember watching the Charlie's Angels TV Series back in the 70s. Famous for her curly blond hair, great smile. It is sad to know that she passed away after 3 years of battling cancer. May her soul rest in peace.

Hi skysuccess, When did you hear this? Wow, I had no idea, as last I heard she was stable. I thought surely that she could beat this. Thank you for letting us know. I had the radio on today, but I've heard nothing about her passing. I'll go to the sight you listed. Thank you very much.

clutterbug, You are welcome. I just found it in my daily reads online. I think this news appear sudden because she had been in low profile after her surgery and chemo. Nobody expected her condition to suffer a relapse. Life is just so fragile and filled with so much uncertainties. So, I'd just like to encourage everyone of us to cherish it when our love ones and all of us who are still alive and living. Anyway, I am sure you can read more of it in the website I have enclosed here. Take care and do have a nice day.

I heard that. She was fighting hard and her husband was going on a whole lot of shows talking about how they both knew she wasn't going to make it this time. The whole thing is very sad.
