Oh my gosh!! I can't believe it!! She's actually gone!! She was such a huge icon in the 70's and was my idol for the longest time!! I can't believe this!! She fought a long and hard batter against colon cancer and I thought she'd beat the day lights out of the disease but apparently it beat her instead but she did put up one hell of a fight!!
Farrah, may you rest in peace always! You were such a great person with such a big heart, a spiritual heart!! May God Be With You Always!!

Now I have to tell you this story for it might make you smile. The term for this hair style was called either "wings or feathered back" in the 70's and early 80's so I finally got mine done in that style and kept it for many years. Well being that I had two left hands at the time and didn't know how to use a curling iron, I didn't curl my hair for the longest time then one day I decided I'd get up early and curl my hair for school. LO AND BEHOLD!! I get on the school bus and everybody freaks out and calls me Farrah Fawcett!! I liked to have died out of embarrassment for I was soooooo painfully shy that I never would curl my hair again after that till after I got out of school!! LMBO!! I did start doing it again and got the same response out of adults and kids alike and learned to accept the stares I'd get even though I hated it. So I thought I'd include a picture of me when I was roughly about 19 years old and with a friend of mine in our crazy days. lol Now tell me what you think!! Be honest!! LMBO!!

I saw this earlier and it breaks my heart. I am happy though, that she is no longer suffering. May she rest in peace and I hope her son finds his way in life. I feel awful for Ryan and the family but she is among angels now.

Yeah you're right, she is among angels now but gosh, I was so hoping she'd beat it for she was trying to so hard. She put up one hell of a fight because she wanted to live. Have you seen "Farrah's Story" on tv yet? I saw it twice and it's really interesting, SAD but very interesting to see. It got my attention and wouldn't let go from the very beginning to the very end. She was an amazing woman! May she rest in peace!

I just can't get it in my head that she's really gone. She put up such a fight to live. Now that MJ has passed, he's taking all the spot light away from her which makes me SICK and ANGRY!! She was just as important as MJ was if not more so!

They will drive me nuts talking about mj 24/7, i''m sure. She does deserve as much coverage as he gets but i bet she doesn't get it.

It's very sad, I agree, but now Farrah is suffering no longer and is at peace. Her fight is over, but now her family is left with emptiness. I pray for them in the time of grief, and hope that they all support each other through this terrible time.
BTW I love the pic of you with your Farrah hairstyle - you really suited it!

You are right, she's not suffering any more and she's with the Lord. She fought a long and hard battle because she wanted to live so badly but it just wasn't meant to be for some reason. I'm so overwhelmed over the fact that she's really gone! I loved her so much and watched all her Charlies Angels episodes and the other movies she starred in. She always was beautiful all throughout the years even as she got older and even when she had that cancer look, she was just beautiful. May she rest in peace always!!

I understand how you feel I was shock about hearing about it.I would say the ones at school was jealousy of you because you look so good and they didn't and they didn't know how to.

I just can't believe it. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and the fact that she fought so darned hard to live makes it even harder to accept.
About school, you may be right but I hated the attention I was getting and wouldn't curl my hair anymore after that. lol I was soooooo painfully shy back then and still am but not nearly as bad as I was.

Hi Cats: I hadn't heard that yet on the news! Haven't had the Tv on much today for some reason, but I'm sorry to hear that, she sure did fight a long hard battle;
It's sad when anyone who suffers like that with cancer passes away, I feel sorry for her family;

I didn't know either until I opened up msn home page and was floored! Then I thought, no it can't be true, she wanted to live and then I went to the aol page and the same thing came up. It just makes me sick. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and now she's gone. I know she's at peace right now and with the Lord so that does give some consolation but dang it, she wanted to live. I wish her family all the best life has to offer.
