Going to give my dog an Oatmeal Bath

My dog gets very itchy skin and it can be very dry. I bought some oatmeal soap and I am hoping this will sooth his itchy skin. Have you ever tried giving your dog an oatmeal bath?

I've never heard of giving a dog an oatmeal bath...ppl yes, especially kids with chicken pox. I've never taken one but I hear that they are very soothing and make your skin feel much better.

I would like to thank eveyone that response to this post and thank you moneymommy because I didn't know I could use oatmeal for my dogs. Now I will be trying it. thank you again I love this site and mylot friends because I leran something everytime I sign in to this site.

Hi MM my dog gets itchy dry skin, and teatree shampoo seems to do the trick for her, oatmeal may be ok for her but really you need a soft shampoo, oatmeal I don't think is really the right one..hopefully someone else will be able to help you more...LoLo
