If you do not get much sleep are you grumpy the next day ? or do you start feeling ill due to lack of sleep? I sometimes feel both.

If there is only one night when I don't get much to sleep, it's okay, I even feel fresher next day (if I have to wake up early). But if don't sleep enough several nights in a row, I'll feel totally destroyed - headache, bad mood, overall bad feeling.

I'm the same way. One night of lost sleep isn't bad, but is usually good for me. Only if it's once in a while. If I don't get enough sleep I'm moody and I tend to have no motivation what so ever and more often than not an 'i don't care' attitude, which isn't good. Lately I've been sleeping in a lot, mostly because I'm pregnant and have no energy it seems. It's kind of nice having a good excuse to sleep in. :) Sleep is definitely good.

You should sleep as much as you want if you're pregnant. It's good for you and your baby I think!:)

you have one of the most interesting username - I must say.
Anyways - yeah I'm fortunate I know. I'm also fortunate to be a morning person! I get A LOT of work done in the morning - especially when I'm AT work.
I don't really know why I don't require so much sleep. *shrugs*

I"m not grumpy - I'm just lazy if I don't get enough sleep. Though my sleeping pattern can be a tad weird. If I get too much sleep -I''ll be groggy all day. If I don't get enough sleep - I'll be groggy all day. So it's a fine line for me. Typically, anything less than 5 hours is not enough sleep. Anything more than 7 hours is too much sleep. So I try to keep it somewhere around 5 to 6 hours. Though I can't sustain that for the whole week. So on weekends, I sleep about 7 hours.
I love sleep - I rarely not get enough of it.

I wish I could sleep as few as you do. 5-6 hours of sleep would kill me and my mood:D

I frequently do not get enough sleep. Having just completed my junior year of high school, I averaged 4 hours of sleep each night. As long as I drink numerous glasses of Diet Pepsi, I usually do not experience adverse effects from lack of sleep. However, this summer I do look forward to spending lots of time sleeping! :)
