Michael Jackson should have stayed a recluse....

I am so sorry to hear about the sudden death of singer Michael Jackson. While I was not a fan of his in the sense that a lot of my peers were, especially back years ago, I did appreciate him for his amazing talent. I recall the time when lots of people wondered about Michael....his life was a mystery to them. He would not do interviews and stayed out of the public eye for a while. That's where he should have stayed. I believe he would have had more peace there. It seems that ever since he did his interview with Oprah, the media has been all over him and his whole life has been turned into a circus. When I saw that interview I sensed a sad and troubled young man trying to be accepted for who he was. Though very famous I sensed some frailty in him and I secretly worried that he would succumb to the pressures of the industry as well as personal issues which we only get a glimpse of. I believe stress is what killed him at a time when he should have been making a comeback in his career. My condolences go out to his family. Michael, may you finally rest in peace.

You surprised me with this news.. I didn't know. I couldn't even believe it..I had to search the net and look for news on tv and there finally on CNN I saw it.. I am deeply heartbroken. Michael is a very good singer and he is an unforgetable icon. I am so saddened by what happened. Another name, another history in a life of a man who's songs we all grew up with.

None of us can imagine how his life was fo rhim to live. Would we have made the same decisions? We don't know. None of us are Michael Jackson. There was only one. He was very talented and it is so sad that we are robbed fo decades of art. I also am hopeful that his troubles are over. We love you Michael. Wish you could see this....

I think in some ways Michael did know he was loved and idolized but he definitely was troubled as I think all the Jackson children are to some degree. I believe a lot of his decisions were made as coping mechanisms and probably would have been different if he did not have so much pressure on him. As you say, we'll never know. I would have loved to see him make and enjoy a comeback. He was a very talented and hard worker.
