Was Hendrix Murdered?

I was surprised to hear last night on More Four news that Jimi Hendrix's former roadie James "tappy" Wright has said Michael Jeffery murdered Hendrix because he was about to find a new manager. It's always been thought Hendrix accidentally choked on his vomit after taking sleeping pills and drinking wine. Wright claims that 2 years before Jeffery died he confessed to going into Hendrix's room and stuffing a handful of pills into his mouth then pouring bottles of wine straight down his windpipe drowning him, an assassination method he learned from the army.
At first I thought this couldn't be true as the autopsy would have shown this up, but then I realised if they thought he drowned in vomit they may have ignored the wine in his lungs thinking it was regurgitated. here's the full story (I saw the roadie interviewed last night that's where I get parts not mentioned in the article)

Jimi's death was always mysterious and I hope they somehow prove or disprove this theory as though jeffrery is dead he didn't do it alone apparently so someone may be convicted.

Wow... that's the first time I've heard this news... thank you for sharing. There is a possibility that Jeffery might have carried out this act alone, as there wouldn't be time to struggle if Hendrix was sleeping and it would be very easy to do the dirty deed. I'm not sure about the autopsy... they may have just considered that Jimi Hendrix had been drinking that evening, and that he vomited, just as Mama Cass did after a few drinks and sandwiches before going to sleep.... or DID she? lol. It makes one wonder when one reads stories like this, but what men will do for greed is beyond me!

I sure hope so, but they might take a little convincing if there's no tape recording or any positive evidence as to Jeffery confessing to his murder. Ok, the media are only too pleased to pick this stuff up, but the coroner's office is a different kettle of fish. They might be looking for more proof before investigating further.

wow hendrix was the best ever and ever.nobody will be better then him and its a shame if this is true that sombody would do this to the best guitar player ever

If u have heared of Classic Rock Magazine, they had an article in this months Issue, about this very subject. What an Article, u should buy it or read it.

i suppose it's possible..some people are evil that way if they think their income's
walking.i just hope he has proof-considering the statute of limitations doesn't run out on murder,that's a pretty grievious statement.
