I have read the guidelines but I am still confused

I know most of the things NOT to do here. Most are just common sense but I have a request I would like to make and I am not sure if it will violate policy here. I am looking for a few people to help me write for a couple of my blogs. I am ready to pay but don't want to violate any policies here. The only thing I can see in the guidelines that could be a problem is about placing classified ads. What are your opinions on this guideline and my request for helpful Mylotters?

I'd contact MyLot directly and make sure it is alright with them that way you can be sure not to get into any trouble. In cases like that, it's best to go right to the source. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I usually have pretty good luck with them...it takes a few days but they usually get back to me. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I believe the guidelines are fair. MyLot just doesn't want people to come spam here causing members to leave MyLot resulting in a MyLot Meltdown. ;) But I don't think it should be a problem to open a discussion asking for writers as long as you don't post your link.

Hi Diamania The reason I asked this question is because in the back of my mind I thought it would be against policy and mysdianait does explain it well just a little further down. I won't be posting that discussion but mysdianait did give me a couple of ways to get the job done.

I don't understand all the guidelines either. If people add you as a friend maybe you can do it through personal messages. Is it something that you could set as a task? It might be something that I am interested in, but wouldn't know without more details.

I am going to have to look deeper into tasks. I didn't think I could request 300 and 500 word articles and then be able to just tell some people that their work isn't the quality I need for my blogs. That would seem like a lot of work for someone only to have it rejected just because of poor English skills or writing skills that are lacking. I would feel bad for those people.

Well the best way I can think of is you can create your task and the intrested members will be able to complete them. In this way you will not be voilating any rules and will get your work done as well. In addition some members will able to earn extra money . The other way is intrested people can be your frined and then you can discuss with them through PM about the details. Whichever way you are fine can go with it. Just my view.

I haven't taken the time to really look into the tasks. I will go in and take a look to see if it will do what I want. Thanks
