I would rather program web services using Babbage's Difference Engine than with COBOL.

I don´t know anything about computer programs, but I had the idea that cobol was almost out of use. When year 2000 was near, news was that cobol programmers were leaving retirement as there were no young ones that could do the job of mending old programs. Is it true that you can create webservices using cobol
