i stopped eating pork a long time ago. When i found out that i have hypertension, i stopped it immediately. I concentrate on eating fruits and vegetables and more on fruit juices too. I know i was addicted to barbecue and a lot more pork recipes and that make my blood pressure raise in abnormal rate. Today we had an annual medical check up, and i am so happy that my blood pressure is normal now. I told my doctor that i stopped eating pork a long time ago and she was also smiling for the good results. I will just continue my diet habits now and i love to forget pork. hahaha Happy mylotting and smile always!

I have not touched the pork in 4 years. I do not have as many migrane headaches as a result. Overall, I just feel better and I do not even miss it. There are so many alternatives to pork out there. Like instead of bacon I am eating spicy chicken sausage in the morning. Its delicious! There's sweet turkey sausage! Instead of using hamhocks in my collard greens I switched to smoked turkey wings or necks, I think the greens taste even better without all the pork! I love the fact that I can still make soul food recipies without cooking everything with pork!

Yuck! I didn't know most of these facts! I will defintely think twice before eating pork again! I wonder if this is why God forbade His people from eating it.
