I had Chinese friends in the UK who regularly used to order this but I was never tempted to try it as thought it just looked like a bowl of gristle surrounding bone. I'm usually up for trying new things but it was something that just didn't appeal. Also the chickens sold in the UK don't have their feet attached as it is not a part of the chicken which is consumed in general in the UK.

Hello,
you know what,before I see your response ,I didn't know that people in UK that dont eat chicken feet.
and in my opinion, the chicken feet is just like the other parts of the chicken,you eat the chicken head , the chicken leg, then you can eat chicken feet,why not ??

I know that my Chinese friends considered it one of their favourite foods alongside ducks tongue which I did try once as thought it was an exotic mushroom.
I think that most English people would baulk at the idea of chickens feet though and it is not on the menu at regualar Chinese restuarants which mainly cater for English tastes and have adapted the chinese foods to the more conventional English tastes. However the really good dim sum restaurants which abound in China town in Manchester do feature chickens feet on the menu.

i always eat chicken feet soup - its very delicious. But i prefer plain soup, not too much ingredients. Our family likes to have chicken feet soup at least once in a week, sometimes we even have some for every meal as appetizer. Oh i really miss that day!

I just had them for dinner tonight. My mom made chicken feet soup. I eat it with rice. I love it! I don't find it gross and I can't understand why people find it gross either. We have lots of recipes for chicken feet apart from soup. But it's the chicken feet soup the most popular in my house. Even my younger brother love it.

I have not ever had chicken feet. I am always up for trying something new. There is something disturbing to me about eating chicken feet, and it probably all psychozymatic.

I used to eat them when I was a kid. My dad always made soup and told me and my siblings that if we ate chicken feet, we would run fast haha... Now, I barely eat them, but if I have to, why not...
