Best Dota Hero against Agility Based Heroes

well ive been playing dota for a pretty long time and ive always wanted to know what is seriously the best hero to defeat a agility based hero ive tried pugma and viper but i usually lose and when i ward with rhasta every body calls me a noob which kinda dissapoints me so can u guys please help me to decide which is best hero feel free to tell me stratgies im willing to learn. =) please respond.

I've been playing dota since i was in high school. But I stop for a while since I got busy.But from my experience.I think the it would really be difficult to defeat agility heroes especially in the late game. But i think it would be helpful if you buy items that negate damages since agility heroes has a fast attack speed and has a big damage.And of course dota is a team playing game so always coordinate with your teamates. I think that would be the greatest strategy

Hello ishi536 good day to you! I think we have the same history when it talks about the age when playing dota-allstars. I was also high school since I've started to play this game. Regarding your response, I agree with your thoughts ishi536, it's really hard to defeat agility hero because they are all late gamers. Then there is no game end at the middle of the time. The game always end at the late time for me that is my point of view. Which can be able to summary in this thought. Even though you been killed the agility opponent hero at the early game and you didn't finish the game rushly. I'm sure the agility hero will still able to survive and in return it will revenge to the enemy. Dota heroes can able to generalize in this point. Most of the strenght hero are strong at early game until to the late game. But agility heroes are more stronger than strenght and they are weak at early game. Regarding the intelligence type? It is stronger at early game but in late game it just became a support type.
Well, like what you have said. As long as you go coordinate with your teamates and just follow the right strategy of the game. I'm sure you can able to control the game and avoid the problem cause by an agility hero when late game.

you know Dota is a game of agile heroes so if you have to defeat a agile hero defeat him by an agile hero such as troll warlod or Razor or Traxex or Clinkz or viper.Well some say Intel hero are best against them but if your opponent make hood or so,ething like that then intel heroes or nuke heroes are naked. So try troll or razor .

I don't play Dota for a year, and the best hero for me is Necromancer to defeat Agility. You can trying this hero, if you don't like it change with other hero. This is only my suggestion, because I don't playing online games in my last time. Perhaps, people will look this discussion and they know a lot of Dota.

Hello may2k8, good day to you. I thought you are already playing dota-allstars for a very long time ago because i see that you reply always about Dota for every discussion. By the way, let me correct you there is no hero named necromancer because the right hero name that you are talking about is necrolyt. I get your point! Yeah! I agree that this hero can able to counter the most strongest agility type hero. If I'm not mistaken? The right move that you will do to defeat any agility hero opponent is by moving away and by using your heal skill, then let your heart stopper damage the enemy until he/she got a 50percet life stage. Which will give you a sign to instant kill the enemy by ripper sycth the last skill of necrolyt.
Honestly may2k8? I guess the chance to defeat the strongest agility hero. Imagine this kind of situation. What if mortred jumps over this hero and damage it by one thousand plus critical for every attack. I'm sure for just a second of time your hero necrolyt will die instantly. It's somekind of situation that there is a chance to be happen.

You could try using "Necrolyte" and you will really dominate the game. But make sure that you will use his ultimate skill properly. With that skill any hero will be killed immediately even strength is no match to him.

Hello louren007? I think that's not true? Because I believe that davion can able to spawed necrolyt. Then regarding the last skill of necrolyt? It is very easy to be counter. Just simply equiped avatar to be away from magic and try to use defiance to reduce magic damage at this case there would be no effect when you receive the ripper scythe. Like ie ever you are using magina. We all know that this hero on it's called name anti-mage and magina do have a skill to reduce magic damage. That's why there would be no reason to be scared on last skill of necrolyt. Well, that's only my own conclusion regarding this matter.

Int types are the best for agility heroes during the early games. They can harass the agility heroes with their magic skills. You can use ancient Apparition as it is very good in harassing other heroes.

Well your playing dota, so you have to deal with the fact that there are people that will flame you for no reason at all. Any hero can kill any hero if used correctly. You also have to understand that dota is a team game and teamwork is the key to winning. Agility hero tend to have low hp and tend to be weak to nukers like Zues and other INT heros during the early to mid game. Mosty agility heros are good late game and that is the when they tend to get stronger than INT hero which have control early game. Then again its not like your going 1v1 the whole game, therefore teamwork is key.

The key here is to know your opponent. As all heroes have weaknesses, the most common weakness of all agility type heroes is their item dependence and low health pool which makes them vulnerable early game. If you are playing team games, ask a teammate and gank agility heroes early thus preventing them to acquire their items. If you play one on one, always harass and deny. Some heroes are used to counter certain heroes but since in your case you are having problems with all Agility type heroes in general, I cannot suggest a single hero. If you become specific on which Agility hero you are having problems, maybe I can help you choose your counter hero and formulate a more detailed strategy.

Int heroes to push the pace early. Most agility heroes are bad in the early game and are only late game carry machines. That means you should be ganking them early with your disables and also pushing towers as soon as possible with your team.
