Is God Perfect?

What does it mean when we say something is "perfect"? Does it mean the absence of mark or taint? how would the same concept of "perfection" apply to God? Is God a perfect being? If we say God is perfect then God cannot suffer (divine impassibility). Should you contend that God suffers then it implies that in God exists imperfection. But a God who cannot suffer essentially means that he is not subject to be affected by any external influence, events or forces including human suffering and/or divine suffering.Interestingly, the biblical witness takes us to another direction-- particularly in reference to God's special relationship/covenant with his own people Israel and more particularly at the Christ event (i.e. the cross)-- explicitly indicate that God undergoes/experiences suffering, yet profound distress. So Is God perfect? or does God suffer? What do you think?

God is perfect! Why He suffer in the cross? Because of you! Because of me! Because of us! God formed the earth... He did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited. Why did God do all this? Why did he bother to go all the trouble of creating a universe for us? Because He is a God of love. This kind of love is difficult to fathom, you were created as a special object of God's love! God made you so he could love you. He is love!

GOD is God, and we are not, we can only see a part, of His picture, His painting, God is God and we are men, so we never understand it all for only God is God.

I believe that GOD is perfect and yes he suffers especially when he sees the way we as his children behave towards him.If HE wasnt perfect i think we would not have had such a wonderfully perfect earth.HE is perfect beyond a doubt.I know he is everytime i wake up.Nothing HE created has ever broken down or stop seving its purpose.
