Posting discussions takes a proper thought and serious consideration only then you could post, but I find it much easier to post your comments on others posted discussions and then wait for the coresponding reply if ever you get to it! So What do you say mylotters, isnt comenting much easier?

Yeah, I have to agree that it is definitely much easier to respond to other member's discussions rather than make my own. The question or inquiry is already there, we just have to think of an answer and share our opinions. Whereas on discussions, we have to think of a topic and the necessary details so that the other members would understand the points and give their own opinions.
I also want to be involved in my started discussions. I mean I dont just start them just for the sake of starting them and for me they have to be well thought out.
Also, I love to be involved in a way that when someone responds to my discussion, I try me best to give a comment to every response that I get. If those members commented back, I would still give another comment, if there is anything to comment on.^_^

That's a no brainer. I personally feel it's much easier to just respond to other people's discussions.
I find it hard sometimes to respond to all those that respond to my discussions. After the first one or two I find it tough to come up with a response I haven't already used for the same discussion. I don't have that problem when responding to a discussion because I only respond once.

I think so too. Sometimes trying to think of a new discussion to post is difficult, but if someone has already done that work for you, it's easier to respond to whatever they post.
I haven't been very active for a while and at one time I tried to have several new discussions a day. Now I'm just responding to a few a day, if I get here at all.

I only like to post discussions if I feel I have a unique or interesting topic, so I find it easier to respond. Just lately, we seem to be getting some repetitive discussions, and I wouldn't want to post topics that have already been posted. A bonus of responding is that I often find it gives me ideas for articles, so it helps with my writing.
