8 - 15% OF THE ADULT POPULATION. Cant say about children because of development, and no-one can be more accurate

Left handedness is estimated to be between 8 and 15 percent of the world population, although those numbers are affected by the different studies done, by such variables as whether the study included ambidextrous people or not in their counts, etc.

I would say its about 33%. in my house left handed people rule! My son,Husband ,brother and I are all left handed.
