As to me, my favorite author is Sidney Sheldon and when he had published 7 novels, I had read all his novels. I was so happy then with the thought that I had read all the novels by my faorite author. But lately, he published a few more novels and I did not get time to read them. But even now I have read all the novels by my another favorite Hindi author, Ved Prakash Sharma. So, who is your favorite author and have you read all the novels by him/her?

My favorite author tends to change depending on what I like at the time. But currently, my favorite author is Jodi Picoult. I have not read all of her books yet, since audiobooks are fairly expensive. But of those I have read, I loved them.

We have a very small library where I live, so they have mostly old books. They have maybe 2 dozen audiobooks there, I think I've now read them all. All the books are donated I think, so they're older books people don't want to read anymore. I have tried renting audiobooks, but I stopped when too many were so scratched up that they could barely be read. Sometimes I will buy used books on eBay though, and then when I sell them back usually I'll only lose a bit of money. Or sometimes I'll buy a book and it will become popular, so I'll sell it back at a profit... that happened with the Narnia books when I bought the entire set, then they were made into a movie. So when I sold them back, I actually made a few dollars instead of losing a few.

Hi Pigglies, can you borrow audiobooks from the library? Or buy used copies from Amazon or Ebay? I do not spend a single cent on my books. The library is just a twenty minutes walk away. I think there are audio books available for loan too. That's why I always tell my friends, I'm getting my tax money back in the form of books from library. The only setback about library books is the availability. That's why not able to follow the series in the right order. I read Rainbow Six before all the other books by Tom Clancy, and same thing with WEB Griffins books. Sometimes get the sequence mess up.

I do not have favorite author, but I do read widely, able to finish about two hundred books a year. Right now I read a book, then write up book reviews and submit to two writing sites to make more money. In this case, it motivates me to read more. Recently follow Carol Higgins Clark's books. Her mother is the famous suspense writer, Mary Higgins Clark. But Carol's writing style is very different from her mother. I have finished all of Tom Clancy's fiction books. I do not enjoy reading Sidney Sheldon, I find that his heroines are all very unrealistically protrayed.

That is a lot of reading! It used to take me almost a year just to finish one book. But thanks to audiobooks, now I can usually finish a book a week. Unless I can't afford more books, then I'll make them last.

When I find a good author to read I always tend to look for more books by the same author and in most cases it guarantees a good read. I love the books of Douglas Kennedy and have read everything by him and always await his newest book. But then with authors like Ruth Rendell I will always read her books unless they are the Inspector Wexford set which I never took to.

I am pretty sure that I have read every Sidney Sheldon book ever written. He is in the top 5 of my favore authors ever. I read most of them amny years ago and maybe one or two in the last few years. I also love Dean Koontz who I am sure has written over 75 books. I have read them all except for 3 that are a trilogy and that I never found anywhere. I have 3 more authors where its the same story inlcuding Sue Grafton. If I find an author I like I usaully go out and find all their other books and go trough them one at a time. When I run out of books I find another author.

Wow! I haven't read all Sidney Sheldon's books. But I've read a lot of his books. My favorite is the Master of the Game. Would you believe that the first book I've read by Sheldon is The Rage of Angels? I read it when I was 12 years old, and now I'm 38. Of course, I did not understand the novel very well then because of the sophisticated words used. I came to understand the novel as whole, generally because of the good plot. I had to borrow and read it again when I reached high school. Really, it's good reading, most of Sheldon's books. I'm reading Agatha Christie's books right now, I'm trying to read everything I can, but time is my enemy.

Hi Gingerale, I read both Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark. I do not know anything about John Higgins. Both Mary and Carol Higgins Clark have jointly written a few Christmas stories. Those are very funny stories, not the usual Mary Higgins Clark suspense. Carol Higgins Clark is very funny, her ability to create suspense is not as good as her mother, but her ability to create funny characters are matchless. I read quite a lot of Mary Higgins Clark books, probably more than 20, and I remember those stories that you mentioned, but can't remember the name of the books.

Hi. My favorite author (right now cause I have so many) is Sherrilyn Kenyon. I have read every book that she has written. I actually own them all. :) I find other authors by seeing who writes like those I am reading and have found other authors that have become favorites. Another favorite author of mine is Nora Roberts / JD Robb. I also have all of her books. Its safe to say that my bookshelves are stocked and even have boxes of books in the attic. LOL Happy myLotting!!!
