... and reread old books? I do. In this right moment I´m writing while I listen to those songs I learned by heart when I was 15. I relaxes me more than a pill and I feel young again and full of memories. How about you? Do you have your oldies parties?

I used to know how to sing everyone of those songs. Elvis, I know by heart. And before that also. I guess part of my knowledge of English comes from trying to memorise those songs. They do bring memories. My pop took me to see Jailhouse rock when I was 13. It was a turning point for me. And the envy I had to those people who could dance "Rock around the clock" so well! And The Platters. And so many others. All in my heart, friend!

I think "Smoke gets in your eyes" is one of the best songs ever

I must be moody...lol. I almost always listen to the music that was popular when I was a teenager. Thankfully, there is enough interest so that there are several radio stations that play music that was popular 'back when'. I also have several CD's collections of music that was popular in the 50's and 60's and enjoy listening to them too. I think the older I get, the more backward I go...lol.

We have a radio station here that plays MY songs. I know them by heart. I know that our President has that station on when she goes from her house to the government building. The other day I was quite depressed and found a casette I had made decades ago which I called "early rock". I played it while driving and arrived singing and happy. Imagine having in one place "Purple people eater" "Sputnik", "Personality", "Jambalaya" and many others.

Have you ever checked out a website called pandora.com? It's a music genome station, where if you enter a song or artist that you like, it plays that plus similar songs. I frequestly have that on in the background and have had the pleasure of hearing so many songs that I used to love, but had forgotten about. It's a great site, and free too.

When I feel happy or sad I listen to music. If I am sad, I listen and play sentimental, classical or great older favorite music with meaningful lyrics that make me ponder or thoughts deeply. It gives calming moods and relax me. When I am happy. I feel excited, cheerful and like to dance and sing. I like to listen to pop, rock and roll, the mixture of rock and ballads. Then, I am fascinated with fast beats and dance according to its rhythm.

yeah, there are many books that I read again and again. about three books I borrow from local library, to be frank, I keep them over more than one and a half year. I just renew it and renew it all the time since it's not recalled by others. I need them even I don't read them all the time, but I don't want to part with them.

Those are the books that deserve to be stolen. Not really, but I´d tell the librarian that you lost it and would another do instead? It seems that they are spiritually yours.
