How to determine if you are successful in life

For all of us working, how do we really know if we already achieve success. In my opinion, you can say that you are successful in life if you already have inner peace and joy and you are able to live your mission in life.

I determine that I am successful in life if the thing
I pray to God is fulfilling . I crossed the different
hardships and trials that come up my way through the
faith in God that I can do it with Him. When I got
success in my goals of what I am now long time ago.
But I know we have more successes in life as we go on
living peacefully and harmony to everyone.

Very well said there. You must live a life of quality and of harmony with your fellow men since we are all created equally in the eyes of GOD. If only each one of us can help one another no matter what race you are or no matter what faith you believe then the world will be one big place where everyone has peace of mind and happiness.

Successful is different to different people and it has different measurement. Some people used money as a benchmark, some used satisfaction/achievement as benchmark. For me, i'll priority money to be the level of successful, i'll share my money with my lover. Despite of earn much money, i'll gain my satisfaction throughtout the process.

You are right that success is differently measured by other people. There are those who measure their success in the vast wealth that they have accumulated over time or the education that they have while other measure their success by how much they have reach out to their neighbors even though they own nothing.

Very easy. If people are appreciating you, when you have lots of friends, both sexes,when your close relatives are frequent guests and people are willing to help you, in cash and kind without being asked, then think you are successful. An unsuccessful man's life is sans all these.

I have been reading "Purpose Driven Life" and it made me realize that not the earthly success would give us happiness. If you wanna be truly happy, then start to be like CHRIST. I know it sounds very strange but as you go through His words, you will be able to realize your real purpose here on earth and that is to practice our existence in heaven where we can be truly happy.

Of course, you should be able to know how to balance everything. Money is not the root of all evil if people will only know how to use it in a right way especially on pleasing God. Life should always be about pleasing God. We were made to do those things and be able to have a spiritual wealth. Whats the use of the earthly wealth when in fact we will just be leaving them? Earth is just a temporary place. It can never make you truly happy!

I agree with you, I think success is from inside to outside, you have to have the inner peace first, have the mind set that already there, then you follow the right plan and consistent and some kind of work to achieve it. At least that is what I understand about the success.

According to me, we are the only judges about the success and failure in our life. It is that we should have the satisfaction at the end of the day that we fullfilled our duties and those who are depending us are happy . If we have no external tensions - whether it is in home or office - we achieved a certain level of peace and happiness. This itself is the success
