"End the Practice of Writing Legislation Behind Closed Doors: Obama and Biden will work to reform congressional rules to require all legislative sessions, including committee mark-ups and conference committees, to be conducted in public. Hold 21st Century Fireside Chats: Obama will bring democracy and policy directly to the people by requiring his Cabinet officials to have periodic national broadband townhall meetings to discuss issues before their agencies. Make White House Communications Public: Obama will amend executive orders to ensure that communications about regulatory policymaking between persons outside government and all White House staff are disclosed to the public. Conduct Regulatory Agency Business in Public: Obama will require his appointees who lead the executive branch departments and rulemaking agencies to conduct the significant business of the agency in public, so that any citizen can watch these debates in person or on the Internet. Release Presidential Records: Obama will nullify the Bush attempts to make the timely release of presidential records more difficult." This is from Obama's "Blueprint for Change"... So far he has forgotten each of them... will he ever be open or honest?

Isn't it interesting that his supporters defend him by pointing out that he isn't any different? lOL

Those were just words for him to become President, the masses should of known that. All politicians say stuff, and when they are elected it's a completely different story.

He doesn't seem to give a crap about what he said to get elected.

These "promises" were all designed to make people think that government was being secretive and fooling them, but that Obama would be open and honest. In truth, this administration is the most secretive and manipulative one that this country has ever known. Nixon was more open than this guy. "Amend executive orders?" The guy is ruling by executive order, bypassing the system of checks and balances written into our Constitution. He has broken the law by firing three Inpsector Generals without notice to Congress, he is setting up "czars" that answer to him and only to him, he has taken regal power and is ruling without the consent of the governed. Actually, just what he's done so far are impeachable offenses.

The populous has it on these issues. In the end, Obama doesn't have to live up to any (ANY) of his rhetoric. The answer will be, "Well, other Presidents did the same," or my favorite, "Bush blah blah blah fixing blah blah blah inherited blah blah blah JESUS blah."
