What downloading speed do you get with your internet connection?

I have bought a Reliance Data card with a 230 kbps of maximum speed at home. But when I download a file, I get an average of 16 kbps speed. That is so slow, I suppose. In my office though, we have a broadband connection where we get 60-70 kbps downloading speed. So what about you? Do you have any idea of your internet speed? Please respond.

Hey, Well we get about 20MBps as our download speed they say, but when we actually download files, we get about 100-300kbps, which is quite fast, depending on what you actually want to download. I don't think I need any faster than that. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Mostly the speed is about 100 KB per second, sometimes it goes up to 200 KB per second. I use the 2M ADSL and sharing with several guys, more than 5 people. I think it's enough for me, but a colleague of mine using a 8M ADSL and sharing with 5 people, of course their downloading speed is more quick than me, it's about 500 KB per second, the maximum speed is 800 KB per second. I am living in Shenzhen(nearby HongKong), China. Happy mylotting, Cybersoft01. ADSL is a broadband connection brand.

You have really fast connections. I am envious of you.:) Well, my download speed if I use my laptop is about 70-80kbps. However, if I use the PC, I only get around 20-30 kbps of download speed. I don't know why that happens. Maybe some of you could help me solve that?:)

ive bsnl broadband connection and my connection speed is 256 kbps...but my download speed is around 30 - 35 kbps...and ive never seen my computer downloading more than that...it all depends on the bandwidth they provide you...if it is higher then your download speed increases...happy downloading

I am using BSNL Broadband with the 256 KBPS Unlimited plan and get a downloading speed of 30-35 KBPS. That's fair and maximum as it is divided into 8 ports, so what the claim as 256 KBPS comes down to 256/8= 32 approximately. I will be switching to 2 MBPS plan very soon.

I have an downloading speed of 2000kpbs nearly 256 KB per second. I usually have file downloading at a speed of 200KB per sec. Nearly I can download one MB file at five seconds. But you have slow connection. This will frustrate when you download large files. I am using BSNL broadband.
