Hello peercc. I am from the united states and I am very happy with the fact alone that we finally have a black president. I think it has definitely brought people of different races closer together. I think it also gave some more hope to african americans that there are changes happening. As for Obama himself,I voted for him not because of his race but because I truely believed that he was the better man for the job!

The man is biracial--he has black blood and white blood in him. But...I digress. He's doing a good job of running this country into the ground. He's doing very well at implementing his radical socialist agenda, putting more and more heavy taxes on the American people, who are already taxed enough already. He's doing horribly when it comes to actually being the servant of the American people; apparently, in his mind, Americans exist to serve him, which is not the case at all. Obama's also doing extremely poorly when it comes to his humility--in other words, he's an arrogant character. Hurry up, 2012. You can't get here soon enough.

Amen! The only thing I want to add is that, in my opinion, he might have white blood in him but he identifies with black people more than he does white people. From the excerpts I've read of his books I get that feeling.

Take a long and insightful look and you will realize Obama is just a puppet being controlled by the people who put him in the position he is in. He has no idea what he is doing to this country. Take away the controllers, speech writers and the manipulators and he is at a loss as to what is going on. As for his race, he is neither white nor black but bi-racial. So we don't have a black president even if he was born in Africa, He has already said he was ashamed to admit he was part white as well as being raised by whites. He must have got this from his black wife and preacher who hates whites.Character? I say we can judge that by the company he keeps, who are of the lowest.

Is he black? More like a brownish-purple with a heavy tan. All of his fellow brownish-purple with a heavy tan people are very proud, except those that stand to lose money from his political positions, of course. Other than his superior ability to get elected this past year, we really don't know enough about his character to comment correctly. He outwardly appears very open and honest, just like all our great politicians in America.

If Obama doesn't start doing some thing's right,he may be the last black President.Spending money and having nothing to show for it isn't going to make too many people happy. As for his character,he's a career politician. That means he has no character.

He's also part of the corrupt political machine in Illinois. They don't call Chicago "Crook County" for nothing.

Black President? Same as the white Presidents, only Obama likes to outspend them all. Of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with his racial background and everything to do with the fact he's gone completely crazy! :P
