What size bathroom do you have?

I know that sounds like a crazy question but I was watching house hunters on HGTV and when people are going through houses they always say....the master bath is not big enough etc. Mine is normal size and it's downstairs for everyone to use.....I don't have a master bathroom. I am amazed that people want such big bathrooms...I mean you take a shower or bath...use the toilet....and do your hair and make up....but how much space do you need for that? To me a bathroom is a bathroom....doesn't matter how big it is if its functional. So do you have a big bathroom? Would you like a bigger one and why?

Sherlock has a fit if I close the bathroom door. Sometimes I see his little head peeking over the tub behind the shower curtain.

Hi ladies! It must be a "pet thing" because Luna & Star push the door open and scream when "Mom Mom" is in the shower! They don't like it if they can't see me!

Mine is modest too. We don't use it to sleep, lol, so we don't need a big one. We just use it to take a bath and do the call of nature. But of course , even if it's small it should be comfy and clean. I love sparkling white bathrooms. LOl...

We have 3 bathrooms. Two are normal size for a house built 45 years ago. The one downstairs off the family room is smaller. Just a toilet and a sink or commonly referred to as a half bath. I'm content with our bathrooms since I don't spend much time at home in the bathroom. I'm at our daughter's house right now and she has one huge bathroom. The sunken tub, double sinks and shower. I wouldn't want to clean it. Her other 3 bathrooms are regular size.

Yes, I've noticed those people wanting bigger and bigger bathrooms. Some of their bathrooms are as big as my apartment living room! My bathroom is small I guess. There is room for a stacked washer/dryer combo. The complex rents them out and that is where they are hooked up. I can't afford that so I don't have that space taken up in my bathroom. That helps a lot. So I don't feel cramped in my bathroom, but it is certainly not big. The first thing I noticed about my shower, is that the bathtub is much more narrow than the bathrooms in most houses.

My bathroom is just little. It's just big enough for one person to move around which is fine with us. When I was a kid, I had a friend who had a bathroom that had a love seat in it, a vanity table, two sinks and a bath, a toilet and an antique wardrobe. It was pretty cool but I always wondered just why anyone needed such a big bathroom. I like my small little bathroom....cleaning is so much quicker.

The house I lived before here, you could not open the bathroom door all the way cause you'd hit the tub. You'd have to close the door to get in the tub, even if you didn't want the privacy. When you sat on the toilet your knees would touch the sink. That was way too small. I like the size of the bathroom I have now. It's about perfect. I don't need anything bigger, that would just be a waste of space.

My bathroom is not that big yet not too small and it is quite comfortable for me to bath and i think it can fit at least 2 person in it.I am not married and hence why do 2 people get in together. So i think though it not that big it is quite comfortable for me to bath inside.

We only have one bathroom in our house. It is a normal sized bathroom; we have a sink, toilet, tub, and a set of built in shelves for towels and such. We don't have a shower in our bathroom, it is actually separate and in the basement. I could carfe less if we had a bigger bathroom or not, but it would be nice to have another bathroom in the house. We have 6 people in our family and sometimes, it is nearly impossible to get into the bathroom!

OI have two small bathroom en suite that go with two small bedrooms. Mine are just functional although I did chnage the fixtures in my bathroom abut haven't touched the other one and have no plans to do so. I am quite happy with mine as I cn soak in the tub if I want to but rarely do. Basically they are both just functional with pretty shower curtains etc. I like fabric shower curtains with a seperate plastic liner. Nothing special at all.

My bathroom size is normal, 1 toilet bowl ,basin mirror, the floor and the wall are tiles and we painted also the other side of wall of color orange, we have also a cabinet on it to put some soap, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial cleaner, and other, you can move freely and comb and make up your face, then you can brush your teeth there.

It doesn't sound crazy, but instead it's a life related question. For me, if given the chance, i prefer to have a bigger space of bath that must can fit with a bath tab. I love it so much. But real life doesn't allow me to do so, i have no choice to squeeze into the smaller bath room

I live in a small simple apartment. My bathroom is just big enough for one person. What is important is I have a comfortable bathroom to use whenever I want to tkae a shower. For a guy like me, a bigger bathrom is not a necessity.

I like a big bathromm but i hate to clean it.I dream to have a medium bathroom. Fact,my house has 3 bathrooms, one big and 2 medium.I have no maids in my house. So I don't enjoy when i stay in them, because i fear them dirty i'm lazy to clean them. However i want to do my bathrooms look beautiful and tidy.Size doesn't need for me.

I have two bathrooms in my home. The hall bathroom, shared by my children is rather small. You have to kind of side step to close the door. But as you say it is functional and ok for one person at a time. The master bath is not huge, but much more roomie. Still just has a vanity with sink, toilet and tub/shower combination, but has more floor space. When my children were little I would bath them in the master bath, just because there was more room for me to kneel on the floor next to the tub. I don't feel the need for a bigger bathroom.

I don't know why you would need much of a big bathroom really, all you need is one that is big enough to fulfil its function. It's not like you're going to be spending a lot of time in it as you would in the lounge room. Anyways, I have 2 bathrooms, they are quite small really. One has a toilet, shower and sink in it which is rather a tight squeeze as the shower door hits the toilet seat if you push it out far enough . The other one has a bath, sink and shower and is a lot more roomy than the one before. I would only like the first bathroom to be bigger just so that the shower and toilet are spaced far enough away from each other so that they don't collide when the shower door opens. Other than that I'm happy with just they way they are now.

Hey jill! I am lmao because I watch HGTV ALL THE TIME TOO! And I know what you mean! They all want those big sunken tubs with the jets and those huge showers that can hold 12 people or more! lol And some of them will even walk away from a house if the bathroom isn't up to THEIR standards! I have a normal size bathroom, being that I live in a 3 room apartment! But, I love that channel! I watch all the decorating shows, House Hunters, My First House and all those other shows they have! It's one of my favorite channels!

I know! I am wondering what they need to do in a bathroom that I must be missing! LOL....I love that darn channel. I could watch house hunters 24/7....I love to see how others decorate too...but what really gets me is they buy a house and they go back 3 months later and it's all redone! Wow! It took me years to do what little I have to my house!
