I finally have become one. My guy loves tennis and I don't so we haven't talked because of Wimbledon. So now I understand how women feel during football season. I love football , European and American, so when the games were on, I would be watching too.The three sports I don't like are golf, basketball, and yes tennis. So what happens? I fall for a tennis lover.I guess I will have to do what my mom did. She once was a American football widow. she couldn't understand why my dad would rush home from church to watch the game. So she sat down and strsted watching the game with him and learned the game.So by the time I was born, many tears later, she was just as much as a fan as he.I don't hate tennis , I just don't see the point. It could be worse, he could be into basketball. With basketball I Do see the point , I just find it boring. Are you a football widow?

No....but was one in the past.....he loved Nascar...well to me racing is not very exciting.....watching them drive around in a circle but I suppose if I understood cars and engines etc. I might find it more interesting....I love football so when I did have a guy it was reversed.....I would have to run and check the score.....when he wasn't really interested! LOL

I know what you mean about Nascar. I don't see the point of driving in a circle as fast as you can.Football, both in fact, make more sense. What is you favorite football team/

I like European Football but I am not an expert on the rules. I have senm matches and I told my boyfriend that before we see a important match, I need to see one where I can learn more so when there is an important match, I don't spend the time asking stupid questions.

Not at all!! My father watched a lot of sports when he lived at home with Mom, my sister and I, and it was always "shhhh the game's on!" Well, Mom's second husband, and my sister's and my first (and ONLY) husbands all HATE watching sports on TV. All the women in my family got together and decided that we'd never again take a back seat to sports.
