Do you use Hubpages to provide back links to your blogs?

I joined Hubpages a few months ago, and did not realise that Hubpages is a better place to provide backlinks to blogs, than those article submission sites. For one thing, Hubpages allows you to make money with Google Adsense, Amazon.com and Ebay. The articles in Hubpages get indexed much quicker. Within a day of posting a new article, I generate a few page views from readers through yahoo, and google. Do you use Hubpages to provide back links to your blogs? Like to share your experience?

I haven't started with hubpages yet. I am going to start a case study on how much passive income I bring in from hubpages. Building backlinks is also a plus. I read a few blogs were people are making $100 - $300 a month from hubpages and sites like it. I just have to give it a try.

Hi Kush86, some writers in Hubpages manage to make money from Clinkbank by posting the link. As long as there are not more than two links to the same site, it is ok with Hubpages. I have no idea how to make money from affiliate, you will have better luck with Hubpages in this sense.

Thanks Kush86, that sounds easy enough. I will try it out in my blogs first. Right now I'm using the Hubpages to provide links to my blog, I am not very comfortable using too many links in Hubpages at the moment.

But it's also the thought of generating mass content for hub pages, and if you are a blogger, surely you would want content for your blog (if it's your main objective to blog). I sometime use Go Articles, but starting to realize, it's my blogs I should be creating content for not other avenues...

Good tip - i.e. to write summary articles (rather than fresh/new content)for related blog posts and to link to those posts for more information. Hopefully such a strategy will attract targeted readers/visitors...

I have been meaning to use Hubpages, but it would mean more work, to provide content/back links to my blogs. I read somewhere, that you sometime have to be careful, in that your Hubpage does not rank higher than your actual blog in search engine results. Not sure if that's a disadvantage though.

Hi pcsourcepoint, I dont understand what's the problem with the Hubpages ranking higher than blogs. As long as the content in Hubpages is different from blog, the backlink should be better quality too. Anyway Hubpages penalizes duplicate content (duplicate content cannot have backlink), so the content in Hubpages must be sufficiently different from the similar article in blog.

I've only just joined Hubpages and only done about 3 hubs so far as I am still getting to grips with how things work. But it does appear to be a very appealing site especially when it comes to achieving getting back links to your own blog/website. I also like the fact that there are several hubbers who have written in detail about their experiences with Hubpages and taking on challenges like 100 hubs in a month. This sort of information really benefits those of us who are just starting out as well as giving an idea of the earning potential of Hubpages.

I joined HubPages a while ago but have not actually written anything for them yet. I do write for Triond, Bukisa, and Squidoo and have backlinked my articles to my blogs through them. I will have to try HubPages too.

Hi Jedopi, I try backlinking from Associated Content, but they have a "nofollow" tag, so it is useless for backlinking purpose. Hubpages is very similar to Squidoo. I think you can make an experiment, to post an article in Squidoo, and then rewrite and post to Hubpages, and see which is more effective, or attract more traffic.
