Is it really that hard to realize its been decade and you still hasn't realize why it happened?

I came across a discussion on a good friend here about life and responded that Life is a matter if choice and that we are given free will to choose our own destiny. Now one responder commented to my response and said that I wasn't informed that I was living in a world of illusion.
Now it made me create this discussion to ask about your opinions on how I take life as of recently.
Many of you had read my life in here and had been posted on many cases of how painful life had been to me and I realized I was telling people the same story over the years and had not realize that it happened 10 years ago and still I'm talking about the same pain and with the same story. Made me realize that I kept myself with this burden for so long that I didn't know I was stuck and didn't moved on.
Right now I'm living on a positive side of life where in I believe that things happen for a reason and that what has happen had happen and its time to leave it where it should be left long time ago and that my belief now is that life lies on our own hands and that we make our own destiny. That what has happened to me is by my own choice. Living miserably just because I couldn't pass by the past.
I also did some reflection with my life and realize that what happened to me is to be blame by me because I let things ruined me when I should have moved on and made my life better than before rather than crying and just asking why this things have to happen, when no matter how many times I ask, cry and tell my story nothing will ever change unless I do something to make change. I did it, I accepted and admitted my own mistake of how I took my life in the past. A reason for me to say what I just said right now.
Now I wanna know your take on this if I am living in a world of illusion or is admitting your own mistake/fault with your own life is just to hard to say that I'm living in an illusion world?Your opinion counts and I respect and accept every each of your opinion.

Life is indeed an illusion world, because we are not living in a real world.. MOst of the things we see are fake, and that includes family and frenz.. The real world is cruel, and yet humans are not trained to face such a cruel world.. Thus, we create our own world which we wanted and wants a life that we expected..
As time goes by, we start to take life for granted and that's how we end up in a mess.. IF one can face up to life bravely, things will be very much different because we are fighting for what we want, rather than letting destiny or wahtever decide for us..

Exactly what I'm trying to point out that fate is on our own hands and we play the game of life the way how we choose to play it. I guess the other member didn't quite understood what I was trying to imply. I thought it was me but then your reply and the friend above you had made me see it wasn't me.

Yeah, so all the more, u should fight for all your rights in life, and not bow down to destiny.. ONly then, u will be able to enjoy life to its fullest, and really grasp the meaning of life ^_^ After all, everybody only live once and so why waste it??

No, you are not living in a world of illusion. God has given you a will. He has given you freedom to choose. He created us to have a personal relationship with Him. But he won't force us to; He wants it to be our choice. You've made a wise decision to admit to your mistakes and failures in the past. Only by admitting and coming to terms with them and forgiving ourselves can we move on in life. You're not living in a world of illusion. I'd rather say that you are now living in a world free of confusion. God bless you.

I'm glad to hear from your response and had known that I wasn't alone in this. Reading the comment of that member made me think if I was really just living in an illusion. I thought if I was then it will not matter for as long as its making my life good.
I simply believe that life is a matter of choices and that we should not blame others if things did not to be what we expected it to be.
