Time waste during the last weeks of schoolyear... what the heck

I've been attending my new school for a few weeks now ( due to my anxiety disorder I wasn't able to attend school for a few months) and we are at the end of the school year. Most schools back here in the Netherlands have lazy teachers who make sure they have their tasks done for next school year and meanwhile we are forced to watch boring movies.
I really have my doubts on the value of watching boring movies while we could as well have been prepared for next year. A test or two to check if the skills of the students are up to a decent level would always hit the bullseye.
Besides this time waste issue there is also the fine issue of confusion as to the book turning in data. I asked someone of the board and heck they've got no clue on what to do either... *sigh* what a school...
I might as well just go home and get a citation on the doormat. Oh well... do you have this chaos in your country to?
