How many simcards do you have?

Hi Everyone, I am not sure if there are members here who have more than 1 sim card. But as for me, I have 3. I have Smart, Globe and Sun. My Smart sim is a postpaid plan while both Globe and Sun are both prepaid. The reason why I am having different simcards is because I am running an online business and it is a must that I have different numbers from different telecom providers so that my customers will be able to reach me. How about you?

I have 1 sim card. It is a Globe prepaid. It's my first and only sim card I had. And I'm guessing that it will also be my last.:)

Well, I have three sim cards likewise and of course with three mobile phones. Mostly I used my smart sim, I am always traveling and I have found that in most places that I travel, I have better signal with smart. I also use a PLDT landline plus so that I can call landlines within my area. Its actually post paid so I can call without limit. The last sim that I use is with red mobile. I usually used this to call my wife and son on video call. Its very cheap and it very useful when I travel. I can see them instead of just talking to them.

I have heard of red mobile but I haven't tried to have one. I am not sure if I will purchase in the near future but as for now, I don't see any immediate need to do so. You have mentioned that it is very cheap. May I know red mobile's rate? How cheap it is compared to smart, globe and sun? Thanks.

Hi there Chikadee! I onlyu have one active Smart sim card. I also have one from Globe but I used it only once to use up the free text messages of the sim. It was given for free when my sister bought a new mobile phone.

Hi NanayAngel, thanks for the response. Nice strategy that you have in there with your globe simcard. I think there are people who are buying used / expired simcard. Just in case you want to earn an extra 10 pesos with your globe sim. :)

I currently have 2 sim cards which is smart and globe. I have always used my smart sim and have never changed numbers up until today. I bought a globe sim back when I started dating my husband. Back then texting from smart to globe had a lag in text messages so I was forced to buy a globe sim so he could receive my texts right away.

hi there! Good to hear from you ma'am.I can suggest of the sun sim card for your family member (s) especially with your husband. It's really advantageous. I used 4 sim cards so that my friends, family, relatives, and customers will contact me every time they want to especially in emergency cases. It also depends on your location. For me, sun is very helpful because you can save. Imagine, PHP150. It is good for one month of texting already and there is 4 hours of free voice call. So you can really save a lot. On the other hand, tm/globe is useful too for the reason that your messages will not be delayed unlike smart. But, with due respect to smart users, like me, it's also of great help because there are some locations which only smart have signal.. be happy!!!! ^_^

Well I have only one SIM card because I think it is very difficult to manage one connection how would we manage more than one card. But I know many people who has many SIM cards and one friend of mine has a box of SIM cards in which he has 6 SIMS of every cellular service available in the country because rates here are very cheap.

Yeah, it would indeed be difficult to maintain several simcards if you only have one celphone. It would be a hassle to change simcards every now and then. But as for me, I have 3 simcards in 3 different celphones. Since I am running an online business, I find having 3 sims particularly useful for me.
