High guys can you suggest some exercises for the side muscles and lower abs . I seem to have put on extra weight over here .And do you guys think that running and jogging are still the ultimate exercises

hi there! keep in mind that no amount of abdominal training will give you the "ripped six pack abs" look unless you follow a fat loss diet, abdonimal training serves only to stimulate and firm up the muscle of the abdomen while the diet along with cardio-exercise are the ones that strip off the body fat covering these muscles...ok if you are already there, for lower abs do leeg or knee raise until failure and for oblique, do oblique crunch or decline bench oblique sit-up, remember that abs. is consist of slow twitch muscles, they are best stimulated with higher reps...i hope this will help...
