Does salon charge big bucks where you live?

I have been thinking about curling my hair; I stopped having it trimmed since last winter in order to let it grow longer and thicker so I can have it curled in the summer or fall. I haven't been to the salon for a long time, I wonder if their price has dropped these days. How much does it charge approximately these days? Do you know? And the other thing is my hair is really long now, I wonder if they will charge more for super long hair...

I do not go to a salon as i can not afford their prices as they are very expensive and i get a friend to do my hair.My friend paid £100 to have her hair cut in a style and to have blonde streaks put in it at a salon near me and to be honest my friend can streak hair and cut in a style for alot less than salon prices.Happy Mylotting.

prices have prob gone up anyway. Any yes you do get charged for having long hair, and also if you haven't had it cut in ages they charge you for the split ends that they will have to cut off and the treatments to put life back in it

They always charge more for longer hair. Prices haven't dropped anywhere that I'd heard, I wish they would!! A lady that came into my work referred me to the salon she goes to I looked @ their website and if I went in just for a cut it would be $45 w/o tip! And I wanted a color witch was another $45 + another whatever for a highlight I'd be spending $150 just on my hair! OMG! I guess I'll have to stick with doing it myself or going to the $15 walk-in place.

I was hoping they would have dropped the price so I could have a cheaper deal...
