Now that H1N1 Virus is really dominant with infected countries, do you really follow health officers to do self quarantine? I mean, the symptoms are really similar with other flu viruses so do you really follow this rule?

Well I recently had a trip and has returned again. When I arrived at the airport they told me I got a slight fever and made me stay for awhile in the airport clinic. Although I don't have the other symptoms of the H1N1 virus, they got my address, my phone numbers, and other personal details. They advised me to do self quarantine for a week in case I am a carrier. They've given me a number to call in case of emergency and that I advise me to refrain from getting contact with others if possible. That was 3 weeks ago, I am fine now and doing work as usual.
I guess it will not harm us all if we get a little extra precaution not only for our benefit but for those living with us too. Thank God I am free of the virus and the fever was just brought about by the abrupt change in weather.
