My dogs have unique names and was named after their looks. My family`s first dog was called Doogie. It was the most used name for dogs. Then he born 6 babies and we only get one from them and was named as Rubie. She was very sweet and nice dog but she died at the age of 2 because he ate a poisonous frog in the backyard. Then many more dogs comes to our house with their names includes: Dopey, Ruby and not Rubie, George and Sky. Currently, we have four dogs. They are considered family because there is a father, a mother and babies. Dad name is Trebor, a name when read backward Robert. Mother name is Pwet pwet, a tagalog word for bum. When she was young, when you call her, she come to you showing her bum and not her fine face. Then the two babies were called Mestisa for the little girl and Mestiso for the little boy. Mestisa because she looks so different. A mixed breed dog with blue brown eyes. Where else can you find a dog with a a bright blue eyes. And the other one is like an african dog with very manly look. Share us the names of your dogs and the history behind those names. Thank you. Regards, Jeffrey

I have two dogs who were given their names for specific reasons. Our little dog showed up outside of our gate one day and hung around for the entire day so we finally allowed our daughter to bring her inside after checking around and realizing that she was homeless. I told my daughter to give her a bath since she looked dirty and she came out of the bathroom several shades lighter than when she went in. We realized that she had been in the sugar cane fields which had recently been burned so we named her Sugar. We got our younger dog to keep my husband company at the motorcycle shop he owns. He's a big fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles so he named her Dyna, after the Dyna Glide bike. She's very large now but seems to think that she fits on your lap like Sugar does.

Wow, since you just mentioned Harley Davidson, I was yesterday in the cowboy party in Switzerland where they feature much Harley Davidson attire, motorcycle and other stuff plus cafes and gadgets with HD imprinted to it. Back to the dogs, sugar is a very sweet name and she is very lucky to have nice people like your family. I am sure she wil bring more luck to your family because you have made something that God will appreciate the most. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Regards, Jef

I'm not sure if you would call my dogs name unique. But we were thinking about showing him at one point in time, so we were calling him Cosmic Charlie. Now he's just Charlie Dog :-)

WOw. What a nice name actually. I am imagining if I can call my dog Cosmic Trebor. That will be funny because my dog is not cosmic at all. He is lovely but does not show much affection to people. He is sweet but looks rough. He is also cute but not very cute. He is a huge dog with long black and white hair. Anyways, say hi to Charlie cutie.. Regards, Jef
