CMF Ads

Has anyone ever used CMF Ads on their blogs before? I have Adgitize ads along with a few other companies and they seem to be pretty straight forward but the CMD Ads are a little confusing to me. I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand. Do you have to pick the advertisers yourself? All the other ad companies that I have used usually do this for you so I'm not quite sure about using CMD even though I have seen them on many other people's blogs.
