What do you think of protests in Iran? Should US get involved, to what degree?

I read that the American Embassy staff was arrested in Iran. Do you feel Obama should speak out more or less on this? Do you remember the hostages taken back in 1979-81? What about their nuclear capabilities, does this scare you? What about their threats against the US and Israel recently for Obama's words of condemnation?

I can't find anything about the arrest. But if it's true, Obama should speak out very strongly.
A whole lot of things about this regime scare me. I really, really hope (but doubt) that there will be a quiet, peaceful revolution like in East Germany in 1989.

I hesitate to say that we should intervene. MY heart goes out to the protesters and yet to get involved would not be the smartest thing overall. Remember who we're dealing with...a man who denys the holocaust. He's not a reasonable man in my opinion.

No, not a reasonable man, not a reasonable regime. I think intervening will be a huge mistake and that there's no good solution.

When people are getting killed...it's hard to say....it is what it is.
I read this morning on Yahoo...that the tyrant in Iran (can't spell his long name) has said that Obama has taken off his mask....I wonder how our fearless leader will respond to this?
